I am thinking of getting a 2nd hand mountain bike and was wondering if anyone has any comments about the reliability of second hand aluminium frames. What to check for and what to avoid.

 

The frame I was thinking of getting was the Trek 8000 ZR top light MTB frame.

 

Any advice would be appreciated
