Individual entries: P400, Teams of four: P1250 Entry is possible on the first day at 2 to 3pm at the prologue location limited to a total of 120 riders. Entry fees on the day are as above plus P100. No entries will be allowed after 3pm Friday February 21st. Entries to individual stages are not allowed, the rider must participate in the entire stage race. Classifications and prizes: Team Classification: P12000 per team General classification (men): 1st: P9,000 2nd: P4000 3rd: P2000 4th: P1500, 5th: P1200 6th P1000 7th P800, 8th P600 9th P500 10th P400 Points: P4000 King of the hills: P2000 Vets, Masters: P2000 each Primes: P200 x 10 = P2000 Stages: P1000 each (4) General classification (women): 1st: P9,000 2nd: P4000 3rd: P2000 Stages: P1000 each (4) Qualification criteria: 1. The maximum number of entrants is 120. Sixty places shall be reserved for Botswana citizens and residents. 2. The event is open to amateur cyclists. Professional, semi-professional, riders who qualify or race in the Elite category in SA or equivalent, are not eligible. 3. Only adult male and female riders are eligible, 18 years or over. 4. Adult males must have completed the 94.7 or Argus in a time of 4 hours or better in the past two years, or similar 6. To encourage female participation, the is no minimum standard for adult females, however entrants are strongly advised to satisfy themselves that they have racing experience and sufficient fitness to complete this difficult multi-stage event 7.
