With my son now becoming more manageable and less of an excuse for my fat lazy arse I realized in the months preceding his birth and 9 months after this I have gone from a 10 hour/ week training to 3 hours a month at most, and obviously my metabolism is slower than the n1 after 7 I have gained a bit of extra weight.

 

I'm sure if I start riding again I will encourage my wife (my true cycling partner) to take up cycling again. We are going to start spinning twice a week, and some running for now to get her confident in her fitness.

 

But on weekends early morning 6am rides I need another unfit person to take up the reins with me and start with 30km rides out in Durbanville.
