94.7 Transport from Cape Town

Hey guys.

I am planning to go up to Jhb for the 94.7.

I have done the maths and see it might be viable to drive up if it is a shared cost. It takes very long to drive but I am terrified of flying! I did it on my own last year and it was so BORING!

Thinking of leaving on 13 or 14 November (to adapt to the thinner air) and then permitting the person that is with me we can come back the sunday after the race and sleep over half way.

We can use my vehicle. My bike rack can take four bikes. Once we reach JHB I drop you off at your accommodation or whatever and then we meet again after the race. (We will iron out the finer details closer to the time)

I'm sure there is someone that would like to share costs, we can even be three or four people, depending on the response. ( I think it might be a good starting point if some of the people in the car knew each other, so chat to a friend and PM me.

Costs calculated is around R 4000 ( I added some to be sure I dont under budget) so if we get two or three people the costs just becomes less. A flight there and back will be in the region of about R 3000

I worked on 1400 km x 2 there and back and R 13.50 per litre of Diesel and 10km/l.

PM me if you are interested.
