ABOUT

 

 

 

The Old Boys Invitational is a fully-supported two day mountain bike stage race, open to only 300 entries – 60 from each of the five schools invited for the inaugural event: Maritzburg College, Hilton College, Michaelhouse, Kearsney and Weston Agricultural College.

 

Entrants must be either Old Boys of those schools or have some connection to the Schools.

 

 

 

The Old Boys Invitational is a fun, social event with a competitive team edge to it, with the results of the backmarkers being as important as the results of the top riders.

 

 

 

It's about celebrating some fantastic schools and their old boys associations, about recapturing the unforgettable spirit of those schools and the unique camaraderie of competition while representing them.

 

 

 

It's about exploring the beauty of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, discovering its treasures, and racing over some of the finest mountain biking routes South Africa has to offer.
