Going that extra mile.

I am a lover of old bikes. Recently I saw and old school Westernflyer racer advertised. Only problem was that it was in Bloemfontein and I am in Cape Town. I took a fat chance and asked the owner if he is maybe coming down to Cape Town for Christmas. He is but he is flying down. But he offered to keep the bike for me and bring it down in March 2015 when he comes down for the Argus. Then this week I got an SMS saying that his travel plans have changed and that he is now driving down so I am getting my bike this coming Sunday. How is that for cyclist camaraderie and going that extra mile. Thanks Inus my new found cycling buddy from Bloemfontein, looking forward to meeting you and my Westernflyer.
