There will be camping at the Karkloof Club.

They have ablution facilities but no power points as there are no specific camp sites as its just a field.

Will find out what the club is going to charge and will let okes know on here

The club is also looking to have burgers etc on sale in the afternoon/evening of the event so okes can chow there ... I will also check on the availablity of braai's etc. as im not sure what the club does in this regard

Did someone say, after party at the club's pub? :whistling:

Pretty decent deal.

One question though. Would those participating in more than one event be able to take more than one bike?

I want to say yes, however I don't think there will be space for more than one bike per person unfortunately.

Our december involved road tripping in a Caddy Maxi (which in Life form can seat 8 people). But for the avid MTBer make that "seats 2 people, 4 bikes, and luggage".

Anyway... back on topic...

The Midlands is the B&B capital of the world. I have heard former Midlanders say that as youth they grow up being taught how to oneday run a B&B. From how to be ultra friendly, to how many spare towels to have in their home in case of guests.

So finding accomodation shouldn't be an issue. How luxurious, how pricey, and how close to the country club will be the only factors.
