davem Posted March 5, 2015 Share My wife and I would like to do a ride on Saturday in Cape Town area. We don't know the place at all and are looking for recommendations either for a route we can do on our own or join an existing group ride. We will be on a tandem and average about 24-6km/h. Looking to do a relaxed 60-80km ride in some of the Cape's beautiful scenery. Happy to drive out to Stellenbosch etc. Criteria: safe roads, not too many climbs, beautiful scenery, places to stop for coffee etc. What you got CT? T-Bob Posted March 5, 2015 Share You could do a little west coast ride from Eden on the Bay through to town, and either up Kloof Nek or follow the coast and down to Camps bay then along the argus route (but backwards) to Llandudno and Hout Bay and roll back again. That way you'd be doing part of the route and Camps to Hout is a beautiful ride. You also get a chance to ride the 'bossie!
