Warwick is one of our favourite venues to host a trail run! Not only are the trails & views magnificent, but the hospitality at a beautiful site is such a pleasure. Brave the winter chill, enjoy a coffee of breakfast croissant and stay for one of the famous lunch picnics.

Warwick Wine Estate, on R44 about 12 km from Stellenbosch

REGISTRATION: From 07h30 at the venue

 

START TIMES: 15km: 09h00, 10km: 09h15, 5km: 09h30

Pre entries (closing date: 30 June)

7]5km – R70, 10km – R100 & 15km - R120

 

8]Late entries (taken on event day, if available):

7]5km – R90 (no medal), 10km – R120 & 15km – R140

DISTANCES: 5km, 10km & 15km

 

TIMING: Timing will be done with Amarider Trail Tags. No tag, no time: available for rent for R20 on the day or buy for R100 and use at all our events!

 

ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: The routes will climb on the slopes of Klapmutskop and go towards Le Bonheur on recently build singletrack sections and jeeptrack through the vineyards. Trails & views to remember!

GENERAL INFO: Make sure you pre-enter to get the discount and that you can secure your spot, as entries are limited! A medal to the two longer distance finishers. You can choose if you’d like to be timed by Amarider Trail Tag, as the results are immediately live on the website. The refreshment station will have Powerade, fruit & nuts and drinks at the finish for all! Massages at the finish & kids play area.

 

Warwick will offer coffee, breakfast rolls & croissants with cheese & tomato. So relax on their beautiful lawns at the start/finish. Book early for their popular lunch picnic – see their website: www.warwickwine.com

Not much info on the routes on the site either... How does the 15 compare to the Delvera 12 route, which I've done previously? 

 

But this sounds like something I'll be seriously contemplating, since 100-miler (still don't know what got into me...) is out the way by that time!
