A premier mountain bike race covering 95 km of gravel through fynbos, cultivated forestry and scenic routes within Riversdale.

The Hessequa Al-2-Hez is a testing track that includes different elements to test the endurance of all riders.

 

Hessequa Al-2-Hez was founded in 2012 with the idea to host an event in the beautify surroundings that only Riversdale has to offer. The name originated from a similar climb in the Tour de France challenge.

 

The event's aim is to cater for the whole family, yet still provide a challenge in every aspect of mountain biking. AL-2Hez’s main focus is mountain bike events, though we also added some fun and challenging trail runs.
