DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE:

 

This terrain consists of sugar cane, forest paths and grasslands

 

55km - 1050m Ascent; 20km - 450m ascent

 

Features for this event are bridges, single tracks and there is a good possibility of spotting some of our wildlife.

EVENT INFORMATION:

 

Exciting changes have been made to this year's event!! Most importantly our race village has changed which is now located at Rain Farm which is a wild life sanctuary about 12km further on from Holla Trails. Race distances will not vary much from what has already been given but ascent on the 45-50km ride will grow by about 200m to just under 1000m. Some new single track has been added and some fast flowing single track is in place, this is some of the best trail riding you can experience in KZN. For both races there will be a neutral zone leaving the sanctuary where cyclists will be able to view some of the animals (no big 5) the race starts at the exit gate when riders are on the Holla Trails network.

 

Through the location of the village we give an additional experience and also for family members who are not riding the venue offers children activities, game drives, walks, putt putt and fantastic views down into the valley.
