The Croc2Croc is a multi-day stage event with a difference… it combines a Highlands, Lowveld and Mountain experience with the iconic Crocodile River. We added Verlorenkloof accommodation and hospitality to create a single, idyllic MTB venue a mere 2.5 hrs drive from Gauteng.

 

The Croc2Croc is not a race but an adventure experience traversing spectacular mountains, valleys and rivers while smelling the roses along the way. Not all teams will be physically and mentally strong enough to deserve the coveted Mad Croc Xtreme medal… However, everybody with a reasonable level of fitness should be able to finish, and receive a Mild Croc Finisher medal.

 

Day 1: The Prologue: Mostly single track on purpose built MTB tracks at Verlorenkloof with varying degrees of difficulty, including obstacles and enough crossings of the Crocodile River.

 

Day 2: The Kwena Basin: Two stages consist of single track and Jeep Track, cattle paths and farm roads along the foothills of the Steenkamps Mountains and Kwena basin.

 

Day 3: The Highlands: Farm and forests roads lead to Helvetia and the Highlands. Explore the upper Crocodile River on thrilling Jeep Track all the way home.
