Pay It Forward - Wally Edwards - Cradle of Humankind

I received a flyer (attached) under my windscreen last weekend at Something Country in the Cradle asking for help with fund raising for Wally Edwards' children.

 

Wally is a resident of the Cradle who has final stage cancer. I phoned the number on the flyer and spoke with Bobby Bain (a lady) who is a member of the Cradle community and took the initiative to raise some funds for the education of Wally's children. She provided me with details of the Jan Vermaak Attorneys Trust Account which is being used for donations. I also received confirmation of this from Jan Vermaak himself. (also attached)

 

So, my appeal to you. We ride the Cradle, so lets put a little back into this community effort. It will help a family in need and hopefully also show that us cyclists do care about the communities we ride through.
