Vermarc bibs in Durban

I need to replace my bibs...are you still very happy with Vermarc and did you find a place in Durban to try them on?

Its new bib month.

My fox bib is being replaced...again...they did offer me a refund this time..i might take them up on the offer...what happens is the chamois has a heat seal to keep the foam in place...it comes loose and the sponge ends up in a bunch...apparently not a common problem...could just be my big fat a$$.

I went to my friendly bike shop today to buy a new pair of assos (as you know I have always been a huge fan of assos) i took my S7 neo in to get the size right and to show the the guy the hole in the bib...apparently it seems to be a common problem for the S7 neo...there have been other complaints...the response from assos is that you need to check your saddle..the saddle might be causing the holes...i find this interesting because none of my other bibs have holes from the saddle (just checked my bib was replaced in April 2016...more than 2 years ago...i cant complain)

assos do a S7 mille at a good price (R1999) the fabric is almost the same and maybe a little stronger than the more expensive ones.

Checked all my saddles for damage...nothing...however i did find the cause of the problem...after chatting to a few people about it this morning...thanks to Daryl...it turns out the bib is rubbing on the strap which attaches the saddle bag to the saddle...an expensive ooops that i wish i heard about sooner...now i know why roadies dont use saddle bags...at least i got 2 years use out of the bib...even though the rest of the bib still looks new...the chamois looks a bit worn.
