Just stumbled across this thread....my cycling bag looked a bit tired and I started looking around for a new one. I eventually came to the conclusion that there is not a "one bag solution". I did not really want a "block" type bag although the Kitbrix and Smiths bags are very nice and well made. I started looking at transition bags and in the end got a 2XU transition bag. Ample space and pockets, wet / shoe compartment, can be carried on your back as well. It looks like a very big bag but it is not. I do not know the exact capacity but it is big enough for all the stuff we normally take along.

 

Maybe it is a solution for someone.....
