Not surprised. Group of us rode through on our MTB's from Grabouw via Highlands pass a few days ago only to be shown away for coffee by the gate security... Boycott!

Ok so I assume you are unhappy about an exclusive Hotel not allowing you to sit down in their restaurant in your sweaty cycling kit. You will probably find that they also don't allow the omies in their speedos to enter the restaurant until they have put on a pair of shoes / sandals, shorts and at least a T-shirt.

As a cyclist I am always very conscious of not offending other patrons when out for a coffee ride. This means I try and park my bicycle out of the way and I don't order at a counter with my helmet, gloves and sunnies on.

Just to be clear: Are you boycotting Arabella, the event (should it take place again) or both?

LOL. The whole estate.

If they don't want sweaty cyclists visiting their "exclusive" estate then:

1. Don't offer a MTB trail (Yes, they have their own MTB trail)

2. Don't offer an annual MTB event

Besides, many of my mates have done the same coffee ride and was NOT shown away...

So are you boycotting the event or the Estate and its amenities?

Bo-Piketberg also has trails and an annual event (and so does Sani2C), but these trails are only accessible during annual events. Are you boycotting these events too?

Anything Arabella.

At least compare apples with apples bro. Bo-Piketberg is private trails built by the land owners aka you cannot pay to ride there whereas Arabella does.

Now go find other post to troll...

I'm sure Arabella is going to miss your regular visits to the presidential suite. You've shown them a thing or two!
