Scroetie Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 Hi there Im looking to upgrade my hard-tail (fairly entry level) to a decent full suspension all rounder.Im looking for something affordable that is good on trials and XC. I enjoy the odd small jump, and some technical stuff - but nothing too crazy, i mostly enjoy carving up trails and getting some air when I can. I recently did my first race (Nissan trail series - Buffelsdrift half - 40km) - was good fun, but found it quite uncomfortable on the hard-tail... Am planning on doing my first berg and bush later this year to. Anyway, the more research I do the more it seems like I need an 'all mountain' bike Im currently looking at the Scott Spark 960 and the Merida 120 600.. do any of you have any views on these ? It looks like I can pick up the Merida for a better price at the moment, but it seems the Scotts are more popular ?? Any other bikes in the 20 - 30k price range i should be looking at ?
