Hi all mountain bikers and trail runners! 

 

Please join us again this year for an exciting Encounter EG trail run and MTB race hosted at Cedarberg Guest Farm in the Cedarville Protected Environment.

 

Soak up the outdoors and adventure in the unique East Griqualand countryside, part of the Stewardship Program’s Protected Environment. The courses offers epic single and jeep track trails with beautiful views of the Cedarville flats, surrounding grasslands and mountain ranges stretching into the Southern Drakensberg.

 

Kick the morning off with local coffee and craft beer at the finish. A children's play area and hot showers are available afterwards.

 

Longer routes are catered for the intermediate to advanced, with great technicality and elevation changes. A water table will be provided but hydration packs are recommended. Distances are approximate.

Directions: Heading west towards Matatiele from Kokstad, turn left 1 km after Cedarville onto the D649 gravel road. Follow the dirt road up a hill and turn left at the sign 'Cedarberg Guest Farm'
