Cruise and Cycle

Hi Fellow cyclists

 

Would you like an affordable but luxury holiday adventure, cruising and cycling the Mediterranean in 2019? 

 

I have recently returned from my 6th cruise and cycle holiday in the tranquil Mediterranean. The combination of cruising and cycling is superb. The advantages are endless and to sum up cruising one could say a very good value for money, serviced floating hotel with a choice of on-board meals from fine dining restaurants to buffets and then theatre performances every evening, educational lectures, pools on deck, gym etc.

 

The best thing for me is that I forgo the land excursions (which are extra) in favour of disembarking on my bike and having the freedom to explore a new country. 

 

To bring my bike on board and stow it in my cabin has taken some negotiating with the Cruise liner. After some relationship building with The Cruise Line, I am now in a position, with their permission, to facilitate a trial run of a group of cyclists.

 

If you are interested this is what I can do for you: 

• Bring a group of cyclists together who are interested in cycling in different European countries – typically Mediterranean ones where I have established and cycled my own routes. 
• Ensure that you have permission at the time of booking to bring your bike on board
• Handle the booking of your cruise
• Share all of my tips for traveling on a budget in Europe 
• Creating fun, sociable group rides from European ports 

 

The times I have travelled thus far are March /April and November when the weather is typically dry and warm. The tourist season is moderate to low for better rates.
