Guest Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 What a disappointment it was! Having entered the 65k looking forward to a proper ride. Only to have to routes properly marked, till you reach a point where they told us to turn around. I turned around and went to the point where i saw pink markers, but didnt know if this was the right route as other riders were following other routes. I turned around to finish. Last year there was an issue with my finish time. Thank you for confirming my non participation in 2020.
Mr. G Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Marking is an issue, from races to most rides around, I think because they spend all day on the trails that in their minds it's obvious which way to go, but is often never is!
Dodger648 Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Had the same issue. So annoying waking up at 4am for that. What a joke the results. People in E and D batch beat the majority of everybody else. My wife should have won that and came third as she did more distance. I came in before my wife and did not get a finishing time.
