I want to start riding and not sure what a good 2nd hand road bike would be for my first purchase. Also dont want to break the bank. Im 1.77m tall so need the appropriate size bike as well i would believe. Any suggestions?

Very open ended question, 

 

Whats your budget? Keep in mind that you need to account for Helmet, shoes, bibs, gloves etc. Get the best helmet you can afford. 

 

Also size depends on not just your height but also inseam and reach. i would look and bikes around 54cm to start off with. Once you have purchased said bike and have been riding for a while go get a proper bike fit done (Best money you can spend when it comes to cycling IMHO)

 

Also have a look at the classifieds
