Join us for the JAVA MTB SOCIAL RIDE or TRAIL RUN on Pinotage day, 10 October 2020. The event will take place at Van Loveren on the R317 between Robertson and Bonnievale, Western Cape.

Riders can choose between the beginners 20km or intermediate 35km Java MTB routes.

Starting time: (staggered*)

*09h00: 35km

*09h30: 20km

*Few minutes intervals between starting times, times might be adjusted on the day. Remember this is a social ride.

10km Trail Run will start at 08h45

ENTRIES:

R200 per Entry, includes bottle of wine / non-alcoholic beverage & meal at either Christina's Bistro or @Four Cousins Restaurant. R25 Will be donated towards Charity.

On entering choose between enjoying your meal at either Christina's Bistro at Van Loveren or @Four Cousins Restaurant in Robertson. 3 Options plus a vegetarian option available.

ON THE DAY

• Show up 30 minutes before your event at Van Loveren tasting room with your details.
  
• Receive your meal & beverage voucher to be handed in after your race at either Christina's Bistro or @Four Cousins Restaurant.
  

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

• There will be a few minutes intervals between starting times, times might be adjusted on the day
  
• No entries on day.
  
• Entrants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  
• This is a fun ride which will not be timed
  
• Entries must be paid up by 12:00 on 9 October.
  
• Cyclist: No helmet & Buff = No Ride.
  
• Runners: no Buff = No Run

Due to Covid-19, we've had to cancel the 2020 Java Challenge with all its usual bells & whistles. But because we know you must be longing for a run or ride by now, we've decided to have a small, informal Java Trail & MTB experience this year (in line with Covid-19 regulations) which will be self-guided, not timed and without water points.

This event is a simple, fun celebration of being outdoors and being active. It will be non-competitive, therefore there will not be medals or a prizegiving. In order to maintain social distance, there will not be lucky draws, instead entrants will end off their experience with a bottle of wine or grape juice and a delicious meal.
