The Swartberg Gran Fondo is a 170 km gravel bike race starting and ending in Prince Albert, Western Cape. It incorporates Meiringspoort and Swartberg Pass. There are other events on the day such as the Staffeta (relay), Medio Fondo and the e-Fondo for e-Bikes. The e-bikes have their own race, and are not integrated with other standard cycling categories.

The Swartberg Gran Fondo is part of the Trek UCI Gravel World Series.

Hi, for riders in the UCI GrandMasters age category who would like to stay overnight in the tented camp in Prince Albert is there a shuttle to get to the start of the Medio Fondo or a shuttle from the finish back to the start to collect your car?
