Gt Chucker good for Dirt Jumping for a beginner?

Hi All,

So I want to start getting into the Dirt Jumping side of MTBing.

I want to know if a GT Chucker 1.0 will work for DJ as a beginner. I can get the bike for R3500; it already has a few upgrades like forks, crank bars and has been converted to single speed.

Or should I rather save a bit more money and buy a Mongoose fireball or Giant STP?

I had a chucker growing up and it was awsome. Was lighter than a fireball of the same era(had one of those aswell). Its a good starter bike I'd say

thanks, yeah I am thinking of taking the chucker.

If I enjoy and start hitting big slopped-style jumps then I will upgrade to a better Dirt jumper.
