Mikehess47 Posted April 12 Share Good morning all! Traveling to USA for some racing:D I wanted to find out if anybody has experience travelling with a bike with British Airways. For some reason when I ask them on the customer service line they aren't much help ... From what I've read, to not have to pay an extra fee, BA expects my luggage and bike bag to weigh under 23kg to not be penalized? I was always under the impression it's 32kg. But now I am not exactly sure... If need be I will obviously have to pay extra. However I don't want to pack so light to hit the weight limit, just to find out that I could have had an extra 10kg of luggage.. Thanks everyone! Bundu Ric Posted April 12 Share I have not travelled with an e-bike. However, luggage these days in terms of number of bags and weight is usually based on the ticket type you have purchased and then there is the normal upselling of more bags / weights if you went for the cheapest ticket. I have found previously with certain airlines, if you go to a legit event and have proof they accommodate the larger luggage sport bags without any hassle or then at a minimal fee compared to the fee of an extra bag for example.
