This is a proper bucket list opportunity to explore some of the wilder and more remote parts of the Cederberg by bike, while we take care of all the logistics, allowing you to focus on the ride, and taking in the majestic views and interesting geology and ecology that makes this region so special.

This is a three day ride, and includes 3 nights fully catered accommodation. You arrive in clanwilliam on Thursday afternoon/evening for registration, before being transferred by our team into the Biedouw Valley, which will serve as your base to explore the area over the next three days. Taking in sights like the Eselbank Waterfall, the Morovian mission town of Wuppertal, and the remote communities of Heuningvlie. On route you will also pass by ancient rock art sites and impressive cave systems, before eventually finishing off your ride back in Clanwilliam on Sunday afternoon.

Registration takes place in Clanwilliam, just over three hours out of Cape Town, so you don't even need to take an extra day off work. You can leave town after work on Thursday afternoon, and still make it with time to spare. On Sunday you finish back in Clanwilliam, and will be able to take a hot shower and lunch before taking the road back home.

Team entry to the 2024 Cape Ultra – Cederberg Experience includes:

– Entry into the event, including fully serviced refreshment stations on route

– Timing and live tracking

– Three nights glamping accommodation

– All Meals – including selected beers and wine with meals

– 3x 40 minute massage per rider

– 1x Cape Ultra Cycling shirt, 1x Cape Ultra branded cycling bib and 1x Cape Ultra branded t-shirt per rider

– Mechanical support throughout the event (excluding spare parts costs)

– Transfer from registration in Clanwilliam to into the Biedouw Valley

Entry Excludes: Compulsory Medical insurance, Bike parts or spares, alcoholic beverages (Cash bar will be available) or any other items not specifically stated above.
