Advice: Thule Pro-Bike 591 alignment

I have put 2 Thule Pro-Ride 591's on my roof rack and I cannot get the alignment of them so that there isn't that $%#@ annoying whistling noise from them when I hit 100km/h

 

Is this just normal or can one actually get them "quiet"?

 

Any suggestions would be helpful.

i have one on my roof and wind noise is just part of the deal. you won't avoid with such an un-aerodynamic thing on your car.

 

you can try to tape the underside of the roof racks to cover the slot to reduce some whistle. haven't tried it yet myself, so can't say how much it helps.

Tie some cowbells to the front of your bike. You shouldnt hear the whistling noise anymore!
