niterider, you've just reminded me to renew mine! been getting the slips in the mail, but, as always, i procrastinate! i love the "ask chopper" column! the "sh!tbike feature" over the last coupla months was funny! the photography is unmatched!

I think I will have to do the same! Just the pics alone are so cool.

 

just looked at their website a little while back. the subscription costs $11, and there's a free t-shirt on offer. agree about the pics. the photo annual is the dog's proverbial!

 

kiwi, i was talking to the wrencher at the lbs the other day and he mentions cable hangers similar to the one you posted. where, oh where can you get them?

That pic with the cable hangers is my desktop now, just looking at it makes me smile! I dont know where they come from (yet!) I'm sure there was something on cyclingnews a while back with something similar.

way!LOLhe's held onto them since he had his own bike shop! that was the days before v-brakes even existed! was toying with the idea of putting cantis on this bike, but the v's are working well for nowWink:

If I remember correctly(this is going way back) that trick was first employed by Ibis in the late 80s/early 90s.

 

They called it the 'handjob'
