Speed Devil Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 7005 aluminium is a standard material for manufacturing alloy frames.It is not the tubing that you should be worried about, but the way the tubes are joined.I have never ridden a Scott, but know quite few people who do, some of which have been in a few big accidents and their bikes have never sustained any serious damage.Scott is a fairly solid frame and should last you many many years.
