Greetings all,

I'm getting ready to take the plunge into Mtb'ing again....I had a Produx in rthe mid '90's....I am looking at getting a Commencal Combi R '07 or a Merida TFS 700, I want to do general trail riding as well as xc enduro races....any advice would be appreciated.

I believe Commencal will arrange a test ride. I think they run them regularly in the spruit. Maybe get hold of them, let them do a proper set-up with you (very important with a dual sus) and if the bike feels good, buy it.
