Depart from Broadacres (KFC side)

Route:

Cedar road,

Shortcut through Lanseria airport (a good opportunity to meet and greet new faces),

RIGHT onto the R512 towards Hartebeespoort Dam

LEFT at the Pelindaba T-junction

 ... Pecanwood, Tracking Station ...

return via Sterkfontein Caves; Glenburn Lodge; Elandsdrift.

 

The purpose of this ride is Time in the Saddle - so anticipate a ride time of 4hours.

 

There will be experienced riders of various strengths, average speed 24km +

 

en-route we can determine the need to split the group if necessary, but strong riders are encouraged to support others by setting and controlling an appropriate pace, sitting in the wind etc etc.
