Hi , what is the difference between clicnchers and tubbies , can someone please explain with pics please , I know this is maybe a stupid question but I'm a newbie okay ... Tongue

Tubulars have the innertube entirely enclosed, sewn, and taped inside the tire casing. The assembly is glued onto rims.

 

 

 

Clinchers are "clinched" to the rim by the metal (or Kevlar!) bead

forced against inside of the rim by the the air pressure in the

separate innertube.
