"TIME"to change?

This is my second set (pair) of Time Edge Pedals that broke like this,is it "TIME" to change ?

In 1990 as a student I could afford a new set of LOOK pedals(Think it cost ~R300?)  ... but now, I just do not WANT to afford them

 

Mr LOOK, do the Look pedals also hang upside down, preventing a quick clip 'n go the way my el cheapo knock-offs do?

 

PS: NO! I did not pay for it with pocket money, nor with my parents money. I worked HARD for that bike and equipment...
