Pretoria - Cape Town

Dear Hubbers,

 

 

 

I have recently made it from Cairo to Pretoria where I am currently resting up. Whereas there is effectively only one road that goes between Cairo and South Africa, things are obviously much more complicated down here.

 

 

 

I need to make it from Pretoria to Cape Town over the next 15 days, staying safe, away from some urban areas and heavy/dangerous traffic wherever possible. I have come up with this route to take me down there and am wondering if anyone might be able to advise whether or not this would be a smart route to take...

 

 

 

Any contacts/recommended places to stay along this route would be much appreciated. More than happy to share my stories/experiences that I have picked up along the way!
