Grip Shift VS Normal Shifters

The same reason why we keep riding crankbrother pedals. It wears faster, but it's still worth it.

 

Also, the only guys that say you shift by accident are the ones that never used gripshifts. At the rideb4buy, I continueously shifted by accident with the trigger shifters and I got blisters on me fingers. Probably because I'm used to gripshifts.

Come on Bman. Join the revolusion with some nice eggbeaters. Nothing make a bike look nicer than some eggbeaters and a clean gripshift cockpit.

Add some selle italia, a diy chainstay protector and you've got some serious street cred.

aah man, i really want the street cred but gonna stick with my XTR's until they poked anyways and then ill just have to give those eggbeaters a look at Selle italia? def only fizik gobi for my ass and sweet look on the not lasting, its not that they dont last, just that they dont last as long as triggers, on the look from wear and tear and use i would say

Gripshifts do last. I rebuild mine once every year, even though they are usually still in good shape(preventitive maintenance). I like full finger gloves, and they tend to be harsh on the X0 grip, but it will still last you more than a year. IMO triggers are neater, especially sram ones when clamped with avid, formula or hope brakes on a matchmaker clamp.
