If it was Campag, yes. Since it's Shimano then, officially, no. Unofficially, I reckon it might be possible to knock out that hinge pin and remove the lever. You'd then have to find a spare which would, I suspect, be a mission unless you buy a whole new shifter.

How did you manage that??????

 

Look for one whose mech has packed. Ask your LBS.

 

Yup..... If it was kempekkernoglia you may just have been able to fix it but I suspect damage like that would cost very much the same a new one..... And with Shimano you have the added proper ergonomics of a comfortable shifter.
