Looks hot! Just be careful of that adjustable crank length insert, I managed to stuff mine up quite quickly when my pedal came slightly loose.

The easiest way is to take a screw driver that is small enough to fit in to the hole that the bolt screws into and just knock it in. It is quite easy to see if the star nut is going in straight aswell Good luck

I'd say its for mounting one of those racks at the back of a bike. Thats if the weird extension is facing the back of the bike
