  1. Yes, thanks. I'm testing out an 80mm 17 degree rise stem at the moment. I'll see how that goes.
  2. Hi guys, I am thinking of setting my road bike up with a 35 degree 80mm stem due to neck/back pain mostly. I am aware that this will change the geometry of the bike. I've had a proper setup done but it is still persisting. I'm running a 70mm 6 degree rise stem & 760mm wide handlebar on my MTB and that has been perfect. Anyone else running a similar setup on a road bike and what was the experience like? Regards,
  3. Tested it out this weekend and no issues. Smooth shifting, quiet on the trails and enough gears for steep climbs with a 34T and 11-51T combo. Love it!
  4. So I finally did the upgrade and so far so good. I still need to take it on the trails for a proper test though. This was a nice budget upgrade.
  5. Thanks for the feedback guys. I will keep you posted after the upgrade.

  7. Hi guys, I am planning on upgrading my drivetrain to the Shimano SLX 1 X 12. Parts: SLX derailleurSLX shifterSLX chainSunrace cassette 11/51 (As I have a Shimano freehub)Deckas Narrow Wide 34T chainring I've read on forums that the new Shimano chain might not work very well with a different chainring other than Shimano. Anyone else running a similar setup with a none Shimano chainring and cassette and how was the shifting? Cheers,
  8. I was also hunting for 155mm saddles and I came across the below site at Freewheel Cycology. They are based in Cape Town. https://freewheel.co.za/collections/saddles/products/romin-evo-expert-gel They've got a white Specialized ROMIN EVO EXPERT GEL for R800 on special.
  9. Thank you! I managed to get a demo organized for next week. Regards,
  10. Hi guys, Could you someone please advise their long term review with either the Formula Cura 2 or Hope Tech 3 X2? Which one would be the best to go for? Regards,
  11. Hi guys, I'm currently testing out Kudo Coach. Anyone else using this platform to train? I've got a 2 week free trial and after that it is about R80 a month. What's your opinion on it and what are you guys using that's in this price range? https://www.kudo.coach/ Kind regards,
  12. Thanks for the advice guys. I'll test it out for the next 2 months and see how it feels. Really hope I can keep this medium frame as a dual suspension frame is $$$$.
  13. Hey guys, I recently purchased myself a medium Giant Anthem 29er. I usually ride a large. On the Giant sizing chart, it says that it will fit me. I took it around the block and it felt fine. I am 1.80m tall. This is my current bike's (hardtail - large 19") geometry chart. This is the Giant Anthem's geometry for a medium. Could I make the medium work for me with some adjustments? Cheers,
