  1. We just want to say thanks to everyone who has supported us through this little ordeal!!! Don't be alarmed chaps my bark is worse than my bite!!! Lil
  2. This message is for Mampara and Rad006 - firstly, the paint job in question was done exactly to your specs, you sent us drawings and we followed your instructions to the dot.....after the job was finished we sent you a picture - you were unhappy that a line went through your cable guide and you then requested us to go around the cable guide - which we did, the frame was then delivered to you. A week later you complained that the paint was still soft - can't remember why, but I was at your office and the paint looked fine to me but I asked that you wait a bit an see what happens...a year later you started to complain on the Hub about the soft paint - you never phoned us during the entire year (not once) then you complained again over the Hub telling people that the paint is peeling off the frame and I asked you to send me pictures which you did, one would need a magnifying glass to see where the paint is peeling off (under the BB), this could have happened at any time when you were out riding, a stone or anything could have caused this. We are not prepared to give you a respray so please put this to bed now as it's starting to wear rather thin and we are sick and tired of your constant degrading remarks! As for the poor service are you sure you are dialing the correct number? We return all of our calls and e-mails, it might take a few days but we get to it eventually! Lilian
  3. LIke I said, get in touch with us and let's see what we can do! If there is a fingerprint we can remove same in a matter of minutes - no charge!!
  4. Spead Freak - send us a photo of the damage and we will let you have a quote! Lil
  5. We are really sorry here at Cycle Art that you are unhappy with our work but when we delivered your frame to your LBS there was not a mark on the paint, no scratches or chips, we would not compromise our good name by delivering shoddy work, so please take that aspect up with your LBS. We delivered your frame in February and only received a complaint after Easter from your LBS who phoned us to tell us that the frame was in a "bloody mess" and we were to come and get and fix it. Well, as the problem clearly lies with them, they should have brought the frame to us for inspection which they didn't. We charged you R1650,00 for the respray plus R200,00 collection/delivery charges which is a nominal fee and we don't think this is too much for the work we did, the frame was old and shabby and after the respray it looked very nice indeed! Some weeks after delivery, I returned to the shop to collect the outstanding balance in person and nothing was said to me, there were no complaints and I was not asked to take the frame with me. Why wait until after Easter to phone us? Where was the frame until then? You are most welcome to bring the frame to us and let's see what we can do for you. Lilian
  6. Sorry Jaco, not sure what you are getting at? You sent us a whole bunch of pictures and asked us to come up with a design for your tandem using all of the logos on the said pictures.....must say I am NOt an artist, this is a rough draft (as anyone can clearly see) and was merely to show you what you could do!! After waiting to hear from you for a month and the above comments, I take it you don't like my design! Actually, looking at the last mail from you on 31.3- you changed your mind and want a white tandem?? Lil
  7. What did you wash the bike with? It's a bit odd that you have been washing the frame for a whole year and it's only just coming off now? Please send us pictures asap to cycleart@vodamail.co.za or better still bring it through to us land let's have a closer look. Lil

  9. Sorry guys, but due to cable theft in our area, we have had no lines since July (even though the voicemail still activates!!!)....you can still reach us on our cellphones which is 072 1912 022 or 076 2030 890 and our temporary e-mail address is : cycleart@vodamail.co.za
  10. Yes - but we would prefer it if the inside working part was removed so that no paint gets on it. Just the shell is much better.
