  1. I've found a pretty sweet deal on a specialized camber expert 2012. I'm officially a 26er convert. I mean revert.
  2. I'm going to look into that. I did see it and thought it might have been abused a bit for hectic downhill. But I do like the look of it.
  3. Sigh... and it's gone. Open to other recommendations. The Cannondale is a bit pricey. Thinking 13k tops.
  4. Noone have any votes for or against the Specialized Epic FSR Comp? https://www.bikehub....p-carbon-large/
  5. Exactly. Resale value isn't what gets you hooked on a bike. It's reasonable to be concerned about it. But I'm not buying something to get rid of it. I could get a 3k bike for that purpose. If anything, I'm worried about not being able to replace parts and build wheels in the future. But that doesn't seem to be an issue. I hope...
  6. Thanks! Looks very nice. Don't have much experience with Cannondale service. Some people have said the lefty is expensive to maintain and Cannondale is like an on-going investment. Then again, some people don't know what the hell they're talking about. Myself included.
  7. OK so this is no longer available. But I'm still looking for 26er options for good value. What do you guys think of this Specialized Epic FSR Comp? https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/232004-specialized-epic-fsr-comp-carbon-large/
  8. I haven't actually viewed the bike so I'm just going on pics & specs. May see it on Thursday. I know very little, which is why I'm asking about it. It's more the 26" thing that bothers me. The comments are fair tho. You can't buy &^%! for that new.
  9. Hey guys, Here's the deal: I want to know how much you would pay for this 2011 Rocky Mountain Element 30msl. Let's say the condition is very good (see ad pics). Throw a figure out, or provide a range: highest and lowest amount depending on whatever your criteria are. The ad has everything you need to know. 26" lovers and haters are ALL WELCOME. Throw the offer on the ground or press it tightly to your bosom and sing sweet songs of longing. Thanks for your input.
