Anybody have experience these? Any stories of broken bars?

I suspect it's probably not going be a problem initially, but eventually there will be that one guy with the 1kW motor that's going to ruin it. Like that one guy that acted like an idiot that got Kliprug closed. You know the type.

I was riding this morning past the Spes Bona turn off when an approaching pedestrian attempted to pull me off my bike as I passed him. Tallish guy, wearing a blue overall with red brown beanie. Perhaps not too smart to ride on one's own at 5 in the morning.

Anybody have a useful profile for this event? PPA's profile is illegible.

What would an XL carbon frame weigh? Cost?

I also got run over by a lady a couple of months ago in the Tygerberg area. I was in her blind spot when she turned in front of me. I can't remember seeing an indicator... But she did stop. Twice actually. I said I was ok and that she could go. She did, but then she thought better of it and came back. By now the shock wore off a bit and I realized my knee was not going to help me cycle back home. So I was quite grateful when she offered to take me home.

What distance is the entire loop?
