  1. Well then, to add to the post from Peleton, I can only say welcome. See, already new friends from the "other side"
  2. As an ex licenced vet I can tell ya that there is a life after cycling bud. I only cycle for general fitness now,(not good enough for the A bunch). But hey, what a lot of fun back with the hooligans(I mean it in a nice way) of cycling. I admire some of those back riders more than the licenced riders, they certainly suffer more just to complete the race!! Worst part of it all is growing back leg hairs?? Feels awkward when wearing work pants. However, do all the other stuff in life you always wanted to do, you will meet very different and very interesting people. Good Luck, but hey, keep on cycling, with the woollen legs and all!!!
  3. Hallelujah??I praise those six cyclists, long overdue brothers. Now where is the brotherhood in you cyclists. Yes, they did break the law, but we(cyclists) all will benefit from what they did so lets support them, they have done wrong I agree but hey man, they are our brothers. What if they were knocked down or killed by Oupa? <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I also have a long cycling CV(with accidents and shot at) and always feel like an insect when cycling. I refuse to ride on busy roads, but even so, OUPA?s in their diesel bakkies are my greatest concern as a cyclist and I rate them below taxi?s even and I say that from experience. I commute to work on my motorcycle everyday, comes rain or shine and on the m/cycle I feel like Moses, the traffic just opens up like the sea did for him. Why, because of my bad ass biker brothers and not all bikers are like that, but shyte man, we all benefit. If a car can almost run over pavements or even pull over and stop to make space for a biker, why can?t they do the same for cyclists? Well done guys and in a group of 40 cyclists chances are 99% that there was an Oupa in there too you know.
