My first VG. Got to 60km in 03:20 - took me 01:20 to finish the last 10km. Total sense of humour failure. If the climbing and the heat weren't bad enough - the bloody ROCKS.
Was a great race. The heat and wind took its toll on stage 2, and stage 3 was a scorcher as well. Stage 4 is great as it had cooled down significantly by then. Hopefully back next year.
