Event Name: Vic Falls Mountain Bike Challenge When: 11 June 2014 - 15 June 2014 Where: Victoria Falls, International Category: MTB This tough 3-day event is going into its fifth year and takes you through some of the most scenic places in Southern Africa. This Event includes a combination of single track, rural roads and a small amount of tar (near the hotels). Note that most of these areas are not generally accessible to the public and as such are unique to this event. Whilst the Victoria Falls Mountain Bike race is a challenge for the fast, competitive riders, it is also a great event for social riders. Well spaced refreshment points along the way, good marshalling and sweep bikes and cars, as well as some spectacular, un-ridden sections will allow riders some great views of one of Zimbabwe's most scenic areas. Event Name: Victoria Falls Mountain Bike Challenge When: 13 June 2013 - 17 June 2013 Where: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, International Category: MTB An amazing event, operated by the organizers of the successful Victoria Falls Marathon, Zambezi Man multi event, and the Kilimanjaro Marathon. You will be riding through some of the most scenic areas starting with a ride along the Zambezi from the Botswana border to the Victoria Falls, through the Zambezi National Park and riding along the Zambezi River Gorge below the Falls as well as private game areas and rural villages. The ride comprises of a combination of single track, rural roads and a small amount of tar (near the hotels). Note that most of these areas are not available to any MTB rider, and are unique to this event. The event will be fully backed up, marshalled, and controlled to world standards, and is a must for all MTB cyclists and adventurers.
