No...that piece is in position. I'm looking for the loose piece that's shaped with the plastic head and Alan key shaft. When you turn the blue knob it grips that piece and turns the lock out

Hi guys...this is probably a shot in the dark but I'm looking for the part that releases the lock out in my Silverback fork(see pic attached) I have the blue cap still, I need the internal parts that release the lock out. Agents don't have stock. I'm hoping someone reads this and maybe has spares....

Hi guys...my old man wants to offload his bike. Regularly serviced with new tyres but all original components. Seen a trail 2 or 3 times. Rest of the time only used on jeep track. What could he get for this bike?

Does anyone have any experience buying from The Bike Garage? I see this is where the titan is advertised.... and then what can one expect to pay to courier down to CTN? I've heard around R500?

Suggestions around that price range?I don't see any new options that can compete with the cost of the titan?

Hi guys...I'm looking at upgrading my hardtail silverback and have read on here and have had a review from a mate on his bike that the titan racing dual suspension bikes are good value for money. He said he paid around 30k new. It seems no-one has stock of the previous model. New model is launching shortly I believe. Not sure what price range they will come I'm at. So my question is does anyone know of a XL model available new anywhere else in the country? I'm based in CTN...thanks in advance

Hi guys... I have tried to search for any info on these tyres but there doesn't seem to be much. Anyone have any reviews or feedback on them. Seems they brought 2 different options into SA... Scylla and Kratos. Look forward to your responses

Hi Guys...so attached are the images from the link someone posted earlier. 1st scenario is my ex setup and then the other 2 are 11-50 with either 32 or 34 front. It seems both offer pretty similar to what I had on the 3x8 in the low gear but the 34 may offer more on the top end aswell.....thoughts? Am I reading this correctly?

Thanks again for the replies guys Definitely helping... I think my choice is going to be based on finances which means I'm leaning to 1x option. I used the graph mentioned in a previous post and it seems with a 1 x 11 11-50 with a 34 front it will give me closest to my old setup of 3x8 22/32/42 11x34. I will try post screenshots of the graphs, just can't see an attachment link at the moment.

Bike setup was done at 2 well known shops. Ended up going to sports science for them to check it out. Knee pain now is more related to a possible hip issue from football and or running. We still in the process of possible mri scans to figure this out. Haven't had knee pain from cycling for a while. Just don't want to end up with this again if I find I'm having to work too hard on the climbs

And here I thought all I ever needed was Jungle Oats.... This could explain my problem right there ????

Hi guys... Following on from my thread on hardtail vs dual,I am considering saving up till I can afford to spend a little more and get a decent dual. I'm considering in the meantime to change my ex 3x8 as it needs to be replaced.I know this topic has been posted before and the responses lean towards a 1x option. My concern is that I've been having knee issues since I trained for W2W a few years back and don't feel like loosing the granny gear and struggling on the 1x up any climbs which may put further strain on the knees. The 1x option is 32 front 11x46 back. What concerns me is the 2 x option is more expensive and it's a groupset below the slx(if I'm correct?).... Keen to hear your thoughts

Thanks for all the responses. I may look at saving up and spending a bit more. In the meantime I'm considering changing to a 2x or 1 x setup. I've read a few different posts on various platforms that the 1 x is an issue on the climbing cos it doesn't have the granny gear. Any thoughts around this?
