strech a lot, and a thing that worked for me on the epic is a good rub of deap heat and strech before you go to bed, get up and rub again and stretch to get your muscles warm for the days ride. also if you have acses to to a cold pool or some thing get in the water as you get of the bike or within a few min, that wil help too, a good recovery drink wil work aswel, some thing like muscle armor from eas or recovery max from usn.
