And now we have introduced a 70km Gravel route as well. So bring your gravel bike, bring your MTB, but get there. Once again, it is starting again from Stone Park in Maropeng, in the Cradle of Humankind, on an out-and-back route.  Something fun from The Leverage Corporation. Again, this will be done in True Leverage Corporation Style. Nice and slick, friendly and classy, and an event to remember for all the right reasons. You will ride from Maropeng, into the Magalies region passing close by to Mount Grace Hotel & Spa, and then encounter areas that are little known to the average cyclist. Areas that are largely unexplored and that you probably have never heard of, such as Maanhaarrand, Vlakfontein, Koesterfontein, and a few more will be explored. Can you do it in 10 hours or less? Well, that’s up to you. We have tried to keep it reasonably flat, but there’s still just over 1650m of climbing. This time, for the 150km riders, we will have 4 water tables on the route, and rest stations. Event Name: The Grind Reverse - 150km of Gravel Heaven or HellWhen: 09/09/2023Where: Maropeng: Official Visitor Centre for the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site, Krugersdorp, GautengCategory: Gravel“The Grind”, 150km of Gravel Heaven or Hell is back on the 9th of September, but this time, we are changing the direction of the route – now it will be going in reverse from the February event. And now we have introduced a 70km Gravel route as well. So bring your gravel bike, bring your MTB, but get there. Once again, it is starting again from Stone Park in Maropeng, in the Cradle of Humankind, on an out-and-back route.  Something fun from The Leverage Corporation. Again, this will be done in True Leverage Corporation Style. Nice and slick, friendly and classy, and an event to remember for all the right reasons. You will ride from Maropeng, into the Magalies region passing close by to Mount Grace Hotel & Spa, and then encounter areas that are little known to the average cyclist. Areas that are largely unexplored and that you probably have never heard of, such as Maanhaarrand, Vlakfontein, Koesterfontein, and a few more will be explored. Can you do it in 10 hours or less? Well, that’s up to you. We have tried to keep it reasonably flat, but there’s still just over 1650m of climbing. This time, for the 150km riders, we will have 4 water tables/ checkpoints on the route, well-stocked water tables, and rest stations. For the 70km riders, we will have one waterpoint at the 36km mark. We have changed the format somewhat this time, and now you have a choice of doing 150km solo only, or 70km solo only. We will not be offering team rides for the 150km ride. Event Name: Magalies Rocks the CradleWhen: 26/08/2023Where: Die Krip Landboufees, Maanhaarrand, North WestCategory: GravelBack for a second time, The Magalies Rocks the Cradle MTB & Trail Meander (MRtC) promises to be a day of fun. This event is for you if you like to ride, run or walk. Something chilled and on your doorstep, and right at the base of the Magalies Mountains. Beautiful views, breathtaking scenery and great hospitality from the local farmers. The riding will be almost exclusively gravel with a bit of tar thrown in, so bring your gravel bike, or even your Mountain Bike. But get there. The Dirt Trail will be made up of private farm roads, jeep track and some district roads. Nothing technical, just a chance to get out into the countryside. And this year, MRtC will be part of the 2023 Landboufees.  Come and visit the stalls after your ride or run and enjoy some delicious food, craft beer, and buy some choice produce from the various stalls. Started in 2008, The Magalies Adventure has a wonderful pedigree. It’s the oldest race in The Leverage Corporation stable, and it’s back with a vengeance in 2018. This year, The Magalies Adventure is scheduled to take place on the 29th and 30th of September 2018. And this year the Magalies Adventure will offer participants a choice of both Mountain Biking and Trail Running. The Magalies Adventure is known as being tough, offering some great riding and running, something you should be used to from The Leverage Corporation.

 We are pleased to host this event at Mount Grace – The African Pride Mount Grace Country House and Spa – situated in the heart of the Magaliesburg region. We will be based at The Cog & Sprocket, the Mount Grace Cycling Hub.
