Groot Lem I agree with you as development is concerned. It's a pity that Kyle Swain quit cycling. All that talent-gone because no development. What happened to Mathysen (can't pronounce or spell his name). I saw him as a Junior at 2006 Track Champs in Durban. Rode all events and won all gold except silver in the Points. I hope he is in some sort of development squad.

I saw on the CSA website that the two mentioned riders is also included in the Team for Worlds View and Team to Taiwan and Chris Willemse in the Team to Egypt as well - and guess what - Chris Willemse Snr. is the Manager of the Team to Taiwan. What have they done to deserve this ? Connections maybe ?

Chris Willemse Jnr. en Garth Thomas will represent SA at the World Cup in Los Angeles. In 2006 they both were lapped twice in the Scratch Race at the Commonwealth Games. In 2007 they both were lapped in the Scracth Race at the B-Worlds. They have not competed in the WP Track Champs in 2007. I wonder what was the selection criteria. Can anyone give me insight on this one.
