  1. I am in the process of purchasing a new pair of pedals and strongly considering the S Track. I notice the price difference between the entry level (about R850) and the race - R1800. They say that the entry level is for beginners. Why is that? Would I be better off purchasing an XT pedal for R850 or the entry level Look S Track? Quite a big concern is the durability of these pedals. Apparently the body is some type of hardened plastic. Could someone give me more information?
  2. Anybody going through from Cape Town on the day? I am very keen to do it but a one day trip to Citrusdal for one person makes it a bit expensive. Was going to do it with my W2W parner and company but they no longer going
  3. I would be interested to find out if that works. If it does - then to know where to get one of those magafters from
  4. I was unable to download this when I tried yesterday so I assume it's no longer available to the public which I think is a pity. I've downloaded the First Beat Athlete software yesterday - It looks awesome, but this also required the PC pod - I was hoping it might work with the PC link cable that comes with the T6d watch which I have - But obviously this is only used to access the files stored on the watch. Thanks for the reply.
  5. Hi Thanks for the reply Suunto has discontinued all their software for standalone desktop installations. Everything is now done through the Movescount web interface which is in my opinion another glorified social network. Do you know if first beat athelete will be able to read from my HRM? Regards
  6. Hi I am trying to do the following: I've got a Suunto T6c and would like to use it with the Suunto Training manager (Suunto coach). I basically want to be able to see my heart rate, epo, time and possibly speed on my computer screen whilst on my indoor trainer. I have to dual link heart rate monitor and thinking that there has to be a way to accomplish this. At the least be able to see my heart rate. I have the usual clip to usb that I use to connect my suunto device to my laptop when downloading training sessions, but I don't think that I can get the info I want this way. There must be a piece of usb hardware I can get that can read data from the heart rate belt (the analog data) which is compatible with gym equipment. I might be old school but I am annoyed being forced by Suunto to use MovesCount as opposed to Training Manager that's been discontinued. That way they become the owners of users data. Maybe there is more value to this that I am not seeing. (although that's a topic on it's own) Has anyone done this before. Please help. Thanks
  7. He's a friend of mine. Was supposed to join us for a morning ride but was held up at home and went riding on his own. He's got 4 cracked ribs and will be out of action for a couple of weeks but else he's fine.
