  1. I think, as Mike said, if the gate is left about 1 metre open, just enough for you to cycle through, than a previous rider obviously didn't close it and you should close it again.
  2. I agree, all efforts should be made to keep the gates closed. However, we were told if there's a gate open, then it's OK to leave it open. Problems arise when riders open a gate and leave it open, the next rider then thinks it's an open gate and leaves it open as well. It will be hard to trace which rider left the gate open in the first place.
  3. Carlo, was great meeting you, looking forward to your race report. Avanti e ci vediamo presto!
  4. yes self-imported... changed the seatpost in the meantime to a Ritchey flexlogic. Well, i had bought a "wobble bag" (according to Mike), but can't think of anything to put in there, so I think I'll go without.....
  5. yes, 3 litres bladder in the frame bag, don't like stuff on my back...... has worked well so far.
  6. And another one by Mike: http://mikewoolnough.blogspot.com/2018/11/munga-2018-chasing-ghosts-and-virtue-of.html
